• Venice, December 17, 2005 - Director of MDF took part at ’Microcredit in the East’ Congress: Microcredit experience in Eastern Europe with a focus on the Adriatic region’s countries, and operations with a goal for economic and cross border relations development“ organized by Venice Fondation in cooperation with National Italian Comitee for International Year of Microcredit 2005 and IMG.
• Belgrade, November 30 - December 03, 2005 – MDF took part at 4th International Trade Fair for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises „Business Base 2005“, in order to promote own credit products to potential clients.
• Sremski Karlovci, November 3 – 05, 2005. – MDF organized Internal Training for the employees titled Main Marketing Strategies, Positioning and New Loan Product Development.
• Barcelona, Octobar 26-28, 2005 – Director of MDF participated at Second EMN European Microfinance Conference, entitled "Microfinance for financial and social inclusion".
• Belgrade, Octobar 26-27, 2005 – MDF participated at Third International Conference about SME, organized by Mistry of Economy Republic of Serbia.
• Krusevac, Octobar 05, 2005 – MDF took part on Credit Fair organized by Mercy Corps and supported by municipality Krusevac.
• Novi Pazar, Octobar 19, 2005 – MDF took part on Credit Fair organized by Mercy Corps and supported by municipality.
• Belgrade, September 2005 – MDF signed Contract with Credit Bureau in order to check out loan indebtedness of potential clients.
• Belgrade, July 7th, 2005 – MDF signed a Contract with Italian Organization Tavolo Trentino. By this contract MDF, as implementing partner, will support program of T. Trentina reffered to rural turism in River Ibar valley (Municipality Kraljevo).
• Belgrade, July 11th, 2005 - Memorandum of Understanding and Furher Cooperation was signed with Mercy Corps.
• Belgrade, July 2005 - Audit Agency “MGI Auditing & Accounting” audited MDF Vocational Training Program, that has been financed from UNHCR donation. It was confirmed that Program was valid performed.
• Belgrade, June 2005 - Audit Agency “MGI Auditing & Accounting” audited Financial Statements of the MDF for the fiskal year ended on December 31st, 2004. Audit agency confirmed that MDF’s Financial Department operates well and that Financial Statements gave true view of the state in MDF.
• Warsaw, May 2005 - MDF representatives participated at the Microfinance Centre for Central and Eastern Europe and New Independent States (MFC) conference titled “Thinking about the future – Strategic Choices for Microfinance”.
• Bucharest (Romania), May 2005 - MDF representatives attended 8 th Annual Conference of Microfinance organized by MFC – Microfinance Centar from Warsave.
• Santiago (Chile), April 2005 - MDF representatives attended Latin America/Caribbean Region Microcredit Summit Meeting.
• Belgrade, April - GMI consultatnt www.gmi-ny.com gave positive evaluation of the Micro Credit Program financied from ICRC funds.
• Belgrade, April-May 2005 - MDF decided to conduct market research, in order to create new loan products, which will be more in line to the clients' needs. Market Research referes to the legal framework for credit activities, competition assessment, banks and potential donors analyse and accordingly adequat positioning. Research has been conducted by the consultant from Kenya, Marry Watetu Ndgegwa, who has significant experience in microcredit, with a help of MDF loan officers. Final outcome will be New Credit Product(s), that should fit the needs of our current and potencial clients.
• Belgrade, February - MDF presented its experience in clients’ self-employment through micro credits at the Ministry of Employment. Meeting was organized by International Labor Organization (ILO).
• Belgrade, February 23, 2005 - General Assembly meeting of the MDF was held. MDF members decided on Statute modification regarding the extension of the area of activities to some new municipalities in Serba.
• Belgrade, February-March 2005 - Loan Revolving Funds were handed over from donors to MDF ownership. The hand over agreements were signed by MDF : with UNHCR on 2/2/05, with DRC - DANIDA on 8/4/05 and with ICRC on 31/5/05.
• Athens, February 2005 - MDF’s members attended gathering organized by HRH Crown Princess Katherine Karadjordjevic dedicated to Greece and SCG Partnership Initiative.
